May 17, 2007
Following continuous launchings of rockets into Israel and other terrorist activities executed by Hamas and other terror organizations, the IDF carried out during the day four aerial attacks against terrorists in Gaza City, in the northern Gaza Strip:
- A Hamas terrorist headquarters
- A vehicle carrying a Hamas terrorist cell responsible for manufacturing and delivering weaponry
- A structure used by Hamas terrorists
- A Palestinian terrorist, immediately after launching rockets into Israel
Additionally, the IDF carried out an aerial attack against a rocket launching cell after it fired rockets from the southern Gaza Strip into the western Negev.
More than 80 Kassam rockets were launched from the Gaza Strip into Israel over the past three days.
The IDF will continue to operate against the terror organizations in order to ensure the security and safety of all the citizens of Israel.
May 18, 2007
Today Palestinian terrorists in the Gaza Strip launched 17 rockets into Israel, lightly injuring an Israeli civilian and damaging three buildings. In the past four days terrorists have launched approximately 110 rockets into Israel.
As of this afternoon the IDF attacked three targets in the Gaza Strip:
- A Hamas post in the central Gaza Strip
- A Hamas vehicle laden with weaponry in the city of Gaza
- A second vehicle filled with weaponry in the city of Gaza

Today Palestinian terrorists in the Gaza Strip launched 14 rockets into Israel. In the past five days terrorists have launched over 120 rockets into Israel.
Throughout the day the IDF attacked three terrorist targets in the Gaza Strip:
- Two Hamas weapons-production facilities in the city of Gaza.
- A rocket launching cell which had just launched a rocket at Sderot.
Also, two IDF soldiers were lightly injured by an anti-tank missile fired at an IDF engineering vehicle in the northern Gaza Strip. The two were evacuated to a hospital for medical treatment.
May 20, 2007
On Saturday, May 19, 2007, 21 rockets were launched by Palestinian terrorists from the Gaza Strip.
In the past five days terrorists have launched approximately 130 rockets into Israel.
Overnight the IDF attacked five terrorist targets in the Gaza Strip:
- A Hamas cell in the city of Gaza
- A Hamas vehicle carrying large amounts of weaponry, which caused an exceptionally large explosion.
- Three weapons-production facilities- the first in Beit Lahiya, the second in the city of Gaza and the third in Nuserat in the central Gaza Strip.
May 21, 2007
Yesterday, May 20, 2007, 14 rockets launched by Palestinian terrorists from the Gaza Strip landed in Israel, three of them hitting a restaurant, a car and a football field. In the past 6 days terrorists have launched approximately 150 rockets into Israel.
Overnight the IDF carried out four aerial attacks against terrorist targets in the Gaza Strip:
- A truck in a weapons-production facility in Gaza city, suspected of delivering weaponry for Hamas.
- A weapons-storage facility of the Islamic Jihad in Nuserat in the central Gaza Strip.
- A Hamas terrorist responsible for manufacturing weaponry in Gaza city.
- A weapons-production facility of the Islamic Jihad in the central Gaza Strip.
May 24, 2007
The IDF attacked the following terrorist facilities during the night:
- A Hamas post in Khan Yunis, southern Gaza Strip.
- A Hamas post in Gaza city, in the northern Gaza Strip.
- An Islamic Jihad weapons manufacturing facility in Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip.
- A building used by the Hamas in Jabaliya, in the northern Gaza Strip.
- A building used by the Hamas in the Sha'ati R.C. in Gaza city, in the northern Gaza Strip.
- A building used by the Hamas in Jabaliya, in the northern Gaza Strip.
- A business involved in transferring funds to terror organizations.
Since yesterday, Palestinians launched 19 Kassam rockets, 8 of them were identified were identified landing in Israel. In addition, Palestinians fired two mortar shells from Gaza that landed near the Erez crossing causing damage. No injuries were reported.
May 25, 2007
Today, May 25, 2007, Palestinians launched 10 rockets from the Gaza Strip into Israel. One of the rockets hit a house in the city of Sderot, wounding three civilians from shrapnel. Another rocket hit and damaged a factory shed in the city.
Since last Tuesday, May 15, 2007, Palestinians launched over 220 rockets into Israel.
The IDF carried out two aerial attacks today:
- A Hamas post south of Gaza city.
- A vehicle in Sajaiya carrying a Hamas terrorist cell engaged in rocket-production. The cell was en route to launch rockets into Israel.

Overnight the IDF attacked five terrorist targets in the Gaza Strip:
- Three structures used by Hamas in Gaza city and in the northern Gaza Strip
- A Hamas post in Gaza city
- A structure used by Hamas in the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip

Since May 15, 2007, Palestinians have launched over 230 rockets into Israel.
Overnight the IDF attacked three terrorist targets used by Hamas in the in the Gaza Strip:
- A post in Gaza city
- A position in Jabaliya, in the northern Gaza Strip
- A position in Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip
May 28, 2007
Since May 15, 2007, Palestinians launched close to 250 rockets into Israel. Yesterday 13 Kassam rockets were launched, one of them hit and killed a civilian while he was driving his vehicle in Sderot. Another Kassam hit a house in Sderot, lightly injuring a civilian.
Since yesterday evening the IDF attacked three terrorist targets used by Hamas in the Gaza Strip:
- A post near Dir Al-Balah, in the southern Gaza Strip
- A post in Jabaliya, in the northern Gaza Strip
- A post in Beit Lahiya, in the northern Gaza Strip the same person he had just seen smiling the day before.
May 30, 2007
Since May 15, 2007, Palestinians launched close to 270 rockets into Israel. Since yesterday four Kassam rockets were launched from the Gaza Strip into Israel.
Since yesterday afternoon the IDF attacked two targets in the Gaza Strip:
- A training facility of the Hamas terror organization in the south of the Gaza Strip.
- A terror cell of Hamas in the north of the Gaza Strip.
